A Great Place To Do Business

Monroe, incorporated in 1823, has a long history of being one of the fastest growing communities in Connecticut. It is a great place to do business and a great place to raise your family. It provides a safe, stable enviroment for the growth of business and family. There are plenty of business opportunities and potential accompanied with beautiful rural surroundings. We are located very conveniently in the middle of a hub of air, sea and highway transportation, which provides availability to markets and for raw material deliveries.

Our goal is to attract and retain an appropriate mix of businesses for the purpose of increasing employment opportunities, attracting skilled workers and to provide the town with a stable economy.

The town wants to work with you to promote, assist and encourage the preservation, expansion and development of new and existing business and commerce. But most importantly we want to work with you to meet our mutual goals.
