For the most comprehensive listing of all available options, which is updated regularly:

Monroe COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics:  We are running vaccine clinics in Monroe through the VAMS online system.   However, there are many other options available as well.   Also, because the amount of vaccine we receive is limited, residents may find earlier appointments from a variety of other providers.   The vast majority of vaccine we receive is from Moderna.  We may receive a small allocation of Johnson & Johnson vaccine in the future.

Homebound Residents -  The Monroe Health Department has begun vaccination efforts for homebound Monroe residents.  Individuals who are medically or physically unable to leave their home to receive a COVID-19 vaccination can register their need for in-home vaccination.  You may also submit a request on behalf of another individual.  Registration is online at or you may call the Monroe Senior Center at 203-452-2815.

Monroe COVID-19 Vaccination Standby List:  In some circumstances, we may have a very small number of extra doses become available due to a missed appointment or extra doses in a vial. To be on the standby list, you must be eligible, registered in VAMS and be available to be vaccinated within the hour if called.  Do NOT use this as your primary means of vaccination!  Click here for more information and to sign up.
