GUIDELINES FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION:
Welcome to the Monroe Board of Finance Joint Session. The following guidelines are to assist those who wish to speak during Public Participation. We ask that speakers please limit their comments. Observers are welcome. State your name and address for the record. Speakers may offer objective comments that concern them.
Expressions of personal complaints or defamatory comments about either Board of Finance, Town Council, Board of Education, Planning & Zoning, Parks and Recreation Commission or against any person connected with the Town of Monroe or any other individual firm or corporation will not be permitted.
The Board of Finance Chairman has the discretion to limit or extend comment time. Generally, (2) minutes per speaker is allotted. Immediate replies to questions/concerns should not be expected (Chairman's discretion).
